Convert Diffuse textures into a mock bump map. Make single normal map off of High poly geo from Z-brush, Maya, etc. Here is my current workflow regarding this stuff. So do I overlay what the N-vidia filter spits out? or do I overlay what I throw into the N-vidia filter? Which in the end is the BIG issue I have, as I wouldn’t mind paying for a comercial license if it means that I can take the program with me onto whatever project I work on, but If I can’t, then its best that I find an alternative way of doing it, otherwise I’m going to have to be shelling out a comercial license for every company’s workstation I contract for, which gets even more expensive. As I hop around from project to project and work station to work station, so it becomes an issue of if I can legally use a comercial licence of the product on any comercial work I personally work on irregardless of whatever company I am contracting for at the time, or if I will have to get the company’s that give me a workstation a new license for each company I work for. Because in the pipe line that I’m working in, its a one trick pony, (Although its a great trick.) So to me, its a bit pricy for this one trick that realistically, I can work around but will just add a bit of hours to work around this.Īlso, there is the legal issue, as I work Freelance, so while I have not ruled out buying a comercial licence for myself, I am unsure of how this will effect my professional work.
